Spurgeon's Prayer: Walking in Integrity

Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men,
— Colossians 3:23 (BSB)

Integrity is to live always as before the face of God.
— Charles Spurgeon

Father, as we begin this day, we come before You, seeking Your grace to live with integrity in every aspect of our lives. Help us to be honest and faithful in all that we do, knowing that we serve not only our earthly roles but You, our Heavenly Master. Whether we are parents, employees, or citizens, may we carry out our duties with hearts full of love and devotion to You.

Guide us as we interact with others today, whether in our workplaces, homes, or communities. May we be people of truth and integrity, reflecting Your character in all we say and do. Let there be nothing in our lives that brings dishonor to Your name. Instead, may we shine as lights in this world, pointing others to You through our words and actions.

Lord, help us to live as citizens of Your heavenly kingdom, even as we live in this world. May we work to bring others into the citizenship of heaven, sharing the Gospel and showing love to those around us. As we seek to live rightly in this world, may we also keep our eyes fixed on the eternal rewards You have promised.

Strengthen us to live with integrity, even when no one else is watching. Help us to be faithful in the small things, knowing that You see everything. And may our lives be a testimony to Your grace, drawing others closer to You. We commit this day to You, trusting in Your guidance and strength. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
