Oh, that we could lift our eyes to those blessed realms, those mansions of heavenly joy, where no sorrow enters, where sin is unknown, where tears are wiped from every face, where there’s no suffering body, no wasting sickness, no troubled soul, no doubt, no fear, no darkness, no distress—only one unbroken scene of happiness and pleasure, where the whole soul and body are engaged in singing praises to God and the Lamb! And what crowns it all is the eternal enjoyment of those pleasures that are at the right hand of God forevermore. Yet how lost we are in the contemplation of these things, and though our minds may stretch to imagine beyond what we can fully grasp into the endless ages of eternity, we are still overwhelmed by the thought. Still, faith embraces the blessed truth. In that joyful land, the immortal soul and body will unite their powers to fully enjoy all that God has prepared for those who love Him.
