"The rainbow will appear in the clouds." — Genesis 9:14

When should we expect to see the sign of the covenant? The rainbow only appears on a cloud. Beloved, our God, who is like the sun to us, always shines, but we don’t always see Him—clouds often hide His face. But no matter what drops may be falling

or what clouds may be threatening, if He shines, the rainbow will appear. It's said that when we see the rainbow, the storm is over. It’s true that when Christ comes, our troubles fade; when we see Jesus, our sins disappear, and our doubts and fears subside. When Jesus walks on the waters of our storms, there is a profound calm.

Though some days may only add a little to the pile, little by little it grows into a mountain. Small experiences, if well managed, will soon make us rich in love. Even if the riverbanks rise slowly, the one who starts in shallow water will find the water

covering their knees if they keep wading. Blessed is the person whose love for the Lord grows stronger with the years so that their heart is fixed, fired, and blazing.
