You will most clearly sense Christ’s presence when you are most like Him. If you want to see Christ, you need to grow in your likeness to Him. Through the power of the Spirit, align yourself with Christ’s desires, motives, and actions, and you will find fellowship with Him. Remember, His presence is

available to you. His promise is as true as ever. He loves to be with us. If He doesn’t come, it’s because our indifference is keeping Him away. He will reveal Himself in response to our sincere prayers, and He will graciously allow Himself to be held by our heartfelt pleas and tears, which are the golden chains that bind Jesus to His people.

The person who relies on cunning changes direction constantly, like a ship tossed by the wind. But the one who trusts in the Lord is like a steam-powered vessel, cutting through the waves, defying the wind, and steadily moving towards its destination.

Be someone who lives by firm principles, not a slave to the ever-changing ways of this unpredictable world.
