For I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole will of God. — Acts 20:27 BSB
It’s likely that God allows every person we meet to cross our path so we have the chance to leave a blessing in their life, some influence that draws them closer to Him. How wonderful it would be if, at the end of life, we could meet every person we’ve ever encountered and honestly say, “I am free from the blood of all men.”
Is it true for us? The servant who works in your home, the person sitting beside you on the train, the worker who labors for you, and especially the members of your family and coworkers—have you done your best to lead them to Christ?
The early Christians saw every situation as an opportunity to witness for Christ. Even when they stood before kings and governors, they didn’t view it as a chance to secure their freedom but as an opportunity to testify of Christ to people they wouldn’t otherwise reach. Their focus was always on the testimony they could give for their Master.
Beloved, is it the same for us today?
