For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, — Eph 5:8 BSB

As Christians, we can walk in this world as children of light. Light represents everything beautiful, true, right, and good, while darkness symbolizes all that is wrong, evil, and unholy.

We belong to the kingdom of light, and we should live in a way that our lives always shine. We are the light of the world, called to make life brighter for others and to help guide those who are lost.

It would be tragic if anyone in darkness looked to us for guidance and found no light shining. If the light in a lighthouse were to go out, ships might crash. Similarly, if our light fails to shine, we don’t know who might suffer because of it.

We are all children of light, and we must never allow our lamp to grow dim.
