There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known. — Luke 12:2 BSB

Christ desires sincerity in His followers. The sin He condemned most strongly was hypocrisy—pretending to be something we’re not. There’s still plenty of hypocrisy in the world today, and the need for genuine, honest living is just as great.

Jesus reminds us that nothing hidden will remain hidden. People may think they can commit sins in secret, but those sins will eventually be revealed. Even if their actions are concealed for a time, sin has a way of staining the soul, leaving its mark. The only safe way to live is with complete honesty, being just as good and true in private as we are in public. Living a life of integrity ensures that there’s nothing hidden that could bring shame or dishonor.
