I ask then, did God reject His people? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. — Rom 11:1 BSB
God never abandons anyone. His love never fails.
Some people talk as though God has cast off the Jewish people, but He never did. The problem was that they turned away from God. Even in their darkest times, there was always a faithful remnant who received His blessings.
God never fails to keep His promises. His word says, “The mountains may move, and the hills may shake, but My loving kindness will never leave you, and My covenant of peace will not be broken, says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” This covenant of peace has never been broken for anyone who has trusted in God.
But every covenant has two sides. God’s promises depend on our obedience. If we fail to do our part, we’re the ones who break the covenant. And when the blessings don’t come, we can’t say that God has forgotten us.
The truth is, we’ve turned away from God, and the blessings of His love have been withheld because we’ve rejected them.
