Our lives often feel tangled, like threads in a child’s hands, and we struggle to sort them out. We can’t see how anything good or beautiful could come from our mistakes or weaknesses. Our days are full of disappointments, and our nights are often restless with worry. But as Christians, we have the privilege of entrusting all the mess of our lives to Jesus Christ. He can take the broken pieces and create something beautiful.

There’s a story about one of the finest windows in a great cathedral, made from the discarded fragments of broken glass. A skilled artist gathered the pieces and transformed them into a lovely work of art. In the same way, Christ can take our failures, mistakes, and even sins, and turn them into something beautiful in our lives.
