Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. — Col 3:1 BSB
God is waiting this morning to mark the start of a new day for every willing heart, touching us with life and power that will lift us to higher pleasures and reveal grander horizons of hope and holy service.
We won’t have to search far to find our risen Lord. Just as He was ahead of the earliest seeker on that first Easter morning, He will be waiting for us before the break of day with His glad "All hail!"—if we have eyes to see and hearts to welcome Him.
What is His message to us this springtime? "If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God."
It’s not just a rising higher in the old life; it’s a resurrection from the dead. Our experience of resurrection will be no greater than our experience of death. Only as far as we have truly died to self will we live with Him.
