Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. — Heb 12:2 BSB

Add to your faith—but don’t try to add to yourself. That’s where we often make the mistake. We not only enter by faith, but we must advance by faith, step by step. At each new stage, we’ll find ourselves just as incapable and unequal to the challenge as we were before. We must take the grace and victory by faith. Do you need courage? You’ll find yourself lacking, but you must claim it by faith. Do you need love? Your own love will fall short, but you must receive His love, and it will be given. Even faith itself is a gift—you need the faith of God. Christ in us is the spirit of faith, as well as the blessing that faith claims. So, from beginning to end, our life is Christ in us through the exceeding riches of His grace. And our song will forever be: "Not I, but Christ who lives in me."

It’s so sweet to walk with Jesus,
Step by step and day by day;
Stepping in His very footprints,
Walking with Him all the way.
