Your people shall be willing on Your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, to You belongs the dew of Your youth. — Ps 110:3 BSB

Oh, that you might get such a view of Him that it would make it impossible for small things to ever trouble you again! The petty concerns and insignificant things that have troubled you so much should instead cause you to marvel that you even think so much about them. Oh, if you had the freshness of His youth, you would go forward as the morning and fulfill the promise of a glorious day! What a difference it makes in life once you realize it’s possible to live this way! How much easier it seems now when little troubles arise, to draw a bit closer to Christ, to drink more deeply from that fountain of life, to get nearer to His loving heart, and to find great refreshment and strength from it. How much clearer your mind becomes for the work ahead! Coming to Him feeling heavy, dull, and tired, how refreshed you become, ready to spring into action. How wonderful it is to remember that our living Head never grows weary. He is as fresh as He ever was, the glorious conqueror, always the victorious Christ. Let Him take you today, and He will help you see Him as the invincible Leader!
