Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray at all times and not lose heart: — Luke 18:1 BSB

Let this be a day of prayer. Understand that our greatest ministry and power come from dealing with God on behalf of others. Be attentive to every prompting of the Holy Spirit to pray. Let every pressure you feel be a call to prayer. Develop the spirit of unceasing prayer and communion with God. Reach people through prayer whom you cannot reach in person and expect results greater than you’ve ever dared to claim. View every difficulty as an opportunity for prayer, and call on God, who will show us great and mighty things we do not know.

And let this be a day of joy and praise. Live in the promises of God and the expectation of His deliverance. Don’t dwell on trials—focus on the victory just ahead. Don’t live in the tomb; live in the light of the resurrection. Keep your face toward the rising sun. Arise, shine! Rejoice always. In everything, give thanks. Praise the Lord.

Lord, give us Your joy in our hearts to lift us up, so we may overflow with Your love and lift others.
