For even Christ did not please Himself, but as it is written: “The insults of those who insult You have fallen on Me.” — Rom 15:3 BSB
Let today be a day of self-forgetting ministry for Christ and others. Don’t think of being served, but, like Jesus, say, “I am among you as one who serves.” Drop your burdens and cares, and be free to carry His yoke and burden. Exchange your load for His, making the covenant: “You will abide for Me, and I will abide for You.” By doing this, you will lose your heaviest load and find your greatest joy in giving rather than receiving. Look for opportunities to do good and bless others. Let us creatively seek ways to serve and be useful, especially in winning souls.
The Days of Heaven are busy days,
They serve continually,
So spent for Thee and Thine, our days,
As the Days of Heaven would be.
The Days of Heaven are loving days,
As one they all agree,
So linked in loving unity
May our days as Heaven be.
