For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. — Rom 8:14 BSB

The Holy Spirit is our Guide, Leader, and Resting Place. Sometimes, He moves us forward into prayer, service, suffering, and new experiences. Other times, He leads us into stillness, resting under His protection, teaching us deeper lessons, and filling us with strength before guiding us onward. He is the true Guide of the believer and the Church—our wonderful Counselor and unfailing Friend. To deny the personal guidance of the Holy Spirit in order to only honor the written Word of God is to disregard the promise that His sheep will know His voice and hear Him saying, "This is the way, walk in it."
