Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me. — Rev 3:20 BSB

Some of us are spiritually hungry and wondering why the Holy Spirit doesn’t fill us. We receive so much but don’t give anything out. When we start sharing the blessings we have, making bigger plans to serve and bless others, we will find that the Holy Spirit is already ahead of us, pouring out more blessings than we can even handle, trusting us to share them with others.

There is a beautiful parallel in nature. The Aeolian harp, which makes the most heavenly music, is nothing but a set of strings arranged in harmony. When left to the touch of the wind, divine-like notes are produced, as if angels were playing the strings. In the same way, our hearts can be so open to the Holy Spirit that He can play upon them as we quietly wait for His guidance.
