Divine Cultivation
I, the LORD, am its keeper; I water it continually. I guard it night and day so no one can disturb it; — Isa 27:3 BSB
When the Lord Himself speaks directly, not through a prophet, His words carry special weight for believers. God doesn’t entrust His vineyard to anyone else—He takes personal care of it. How well-protected we are when God Himself is our keeper!
He promises constant care, not just daily but “every moment.” How much we should grow in faith! How fruitful our lives should be!
Though threats like the little foxes or wild boars may come, the Lord Himself is our Guardian, protecting us day and night. What can harm us? Why should we fear? He tends, waters, and guards us—what more could we need?
Twice in this verse, God says, “I will.” These words carry truth, power, love, and unchanging certainty. If God says, “I will,” who can stand against Him? With His “I will,” we can face any challenge. Since God promises, “I will keep you,” our response should be, “I will praise You!”
