Seekers, Finders

As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands the intent of every thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever. — 1 Chr 28:9 BSB

We all need God, and He is available to anyone who seeks Him. He will not refuse to reveal Himself to those who genuinely search for Him. It isn’t about deserving or earning His favor; the simple act of seeking is enough. Those who know the Lord must continue to seek Him daily through prayer, diligent service, and thanksgiving. For these, God will not withhold His favor and presence. For those who have not yet found rest in Him, the call is urgent: seek Him now and do not stop until He becomes your Savior, your Friend, your Father, and your God.

What assurance this promise gives: “He that seeketh, findeth.” This applies to you as much as to anyone. If you seek Him, you will find Him. In finding God, you find life, pardon, sanctification, and eternal glory. Will you not seek Him today? Bow your head and your heart in humility, and call upon the living God in Jesus’ name for cleansing and justification. You will not be turned away. This is the testimony of David to his son Solomon, and it is the testimony of countless believers. Act on it, and you will find God.
