We don’t always know how best to glorify God. It might be through hard work, quiet waiting, or even painful suffering. That’s why it’s better to let God choose how He wants us to serve and honor Him. A bird glorifies God by singing its song; a flower glorifies Him by spreading its fragrance. Mary glorified Jesus by sitting at His feet, and Martha by serving Him. If we simply obey God’s will, whatever it may be, we can be confident that it’s the best way to bring Him glory.
