Many young women create beautiful things, but they don’t bring them to Christ. They keep them for their own adornment. But the women in the Bible brought their fine handiwork to the Lord. They spun beautiful threads to be woven into the curtains and embroideries of the tabernacle. Christian women today can help in many ways to prepare dwelling places for God. They can make a place for Him in their own hearts and bring beauty into the lives of others. It doesn’t require great things, only service filled with truth and love to please God. The threads may be coarse, but in God’s eyes, they will be beautiful if love spins them.
