Turning Things Upside Down

You have turned things upside down, as if the potter were regarded as clay. Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, “He did not make me”? Can the pottery say of the potter, “He has no understanding”? — Isa 29:16 BSB

Will you let your Savior shape your life and make it what He desires? All power is His, both in heaven and on earth. Do not resist His gentle touch or doubt that He understands your unique challenges or temperament. Let Him choose your place in life and provide the wisdom and strength needed to fulfill its responsibilities.

By His Holy Spirit, He forms His life within us, leading us to walk in the way that pleases Him, not following our own desires but His. We yield to His will and obey His guidance, trusting in His wisdom.

Prayer

Great Potter, shape us! Wise Creator, frame us! Guide us with Your pierced hands where we should go. We will not be stubborn children but will submit to Your wisdom, trusting where we cannot see, and committing our souls to You in well-doing, as to a faithful Creator. Amen.
