Of the Divine Faithfulness
Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Lord, according unto thy word. — Ps 119:65
Since first the maze of life I trod,
Hast thou not hedged about my way,
My worldly vain designs withstood,
And robb’d my passions of their prey?
Thrice happy loss, which makes me see
My happiness alone in thee!
