Of the Divine Guidance

Who am I, O Lord God? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? and this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord God. — 2 Sam 7:18-19

Render’d safe by his protection,
I shall pass the watery waste;
Trusting to his wise direction,
I shall gain the port at last;
And with wonder,
Think on toils and dangers past.
