Spurgeon’s Daily Help

Words can’t fully express how precious the Lord Jesus is to His people. Dear reader, what would you do in this world without Him, amidst its temptations and worries? What would you do in the morning without Him, as you face the challenges of the day? What would you do at night, when you come home tired

and worn out, if you couldn’t find fellowship with Christ? Thank God, He doesn’t let us face life without Him because Jesus never abandons His own. So, let the thought of what life would be like without Him make you cherish Him even more.

If I neglect prayer, even for a short time, I lose all the spiritual growth I’ve achieved. If I don’t draw fresh strength from Heaven, the spiritual “food” I’ve stored up quickly runs out, leaving my soul in famine. When indifference, worldliness, and

self-indulgence invade my heart, they leave it completely barren, making all my previous spiritual fruitfulness worthless. So, Lord, please keep me close to You every moment.
