Like the ark in Noah’s time, Christ is the sole means of salvation.

Spurgeon’s Daily Help
There is no other name under Heaven given to humanity by which we must be saved, except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Just as there was only one ark for salvation during the flood, there is only one Savior. There was no other way to be saved except through the ark, and similarly, there is no other
plan of salvation except through Jesus Christ, the Savior of sinners. Climbing up the heights of self-righteousness or relying on your own merits is pointless; you will be overwhelmed. "No one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ and Him crucified."

For many weeks, no land was seen, nor was another ship sighted, but the captain was skilled in navigation, and the good ship stayed on course. A fog rolled in, and the ship had to stop. According to the calculations, they were near the port, and when
the fog lifted and the crew saw the harbor lights right ahead, they cheered for the captain. We too are sailing by faith, with Jesus at the helm. What shouts of joy we will have when we see Heaven right in front of us and find that we didn’t have to adjust our course at all!
