Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. — Eph 6:10 BSB
The Bible consistently calls us to strength. We are never encouraged to remain weak. God is patient with our weakness, but He wants us to bring it to Him so that He can transform it into strength.
Paul urges us here to be strong in the Lord. Life is not easy. All of life’s best things must be won through struggle. Only those who overcome can receive the reward.
It’s comforting to know that the One in whose name we are called to be strong is the Mighty One. He overcame the world and can help us in all our battles. No one can be defeated if Christ is their Friend and Helper.
To enter this battle, we must put on the full armor of God. We need not only to fight but also to stand firm when attacked—and sometimes standing firm is harder than fighting. If we want to be strong, we must be true and stay right with God.
Apart from Christ, we can do nothing; with Him, we can do all things.
