It is enough for a disciple to be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household! — Matt 10:25 BSB
Jesus never promised His disciples an easy path. He suffered, and we can’t expect to have it better than our Master. However, we can always be sure of God’s protection.
Jesus’ statement about God numbering the hairs on our heads shows that even the smallest details of our lives are included in His care.
One of Christ’s most powerful teachings is about confessing Him before others. He wants us to boldly declare that we belong to Him, not just in church or in safe spaces, but everywhere—in our workplaces, social settings, and even among those who oppose Him. If we publicly own Him in this life, He will own us before His Father in the next. It will be a great honor to have Christ confess us on Judgment Day, but we must be willing to stand for Him now, no matter the cost.
