God is my refuge. — Ps 59:9 NET
“The Lord is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, my stronghold, my refuge, my savior.”—The Lord strengthens and protects me; I trust in him with all my heart. I am rescued and my heart is full of joy; I will sing to him in gratitude.
For he comes like a rushing stream driven on by wind sent from the Lord.—So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
The Lord delivers and vindicates me! I fear no one! The Lord protects my life! I am afraid of no one!
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, now and forevermore.—For you are my deliverer; under your wings I rejoice.
For the sake of your own reputation you lead me and guide me.

and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors. — Matt 6:12 NET
“Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother who sins against me? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, I tell you, but seventy-seven times!—”’Evil slave! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me! Should you not have shown mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed it to you?’ And in anger his lord turned him over to the prison guards to torture him until he repaid all he owed. So also my heavenly Father will do to you, if each of you does not forgive your brother from your heart."—Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.—He… made you alive with him, having forgiven all your transgressions. He has destroyed what was against us, a certificate of indebtedness expressed in decrees opposed to us. He has taken it away by nailing it to the cross.—Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.
