I may have the freedom to do many things, but if they harm my brother or wound his conscience, love will gladly surrender that freedom. This principle settles many questions.

Certain forms of recreation, though harmless in themselves, have become associated with worldliness and godlessness. These activities have led many young hearts astray, so the law of love would guide us to avoid them and not encourage others to participate.

It is in these areas, where no absolute rule compels us, that the highest qualities of Christian character are shown and the most delicate expressions of Christian love are manifested.
