Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me. — John 6:57 BSB

What God’s children need is not more teaching but the Living Bread. The best wheat, unprocessed, cannot nourish us. It needs to be ground and baked before it becomes food. In the same way, even the highest truths cannot nourish or sanctify us unless they are made alive in us by God’s Spirit.

Christ breathes the New Testament message to us with a kiss of love and the breath of His power. As we abide in Him, resting in His embrace and drinking in His life, we are nourished, quickened, comforted, and healed.

This is the secret of divine healing—not merely believing a doctrine or performing a ceremony, but receiving the inbreathing of God’s life. It is a living touch that only those with spiritual discernment can understand.

Often, a small amount of truth, received in this way, will bring more help and blessing than volumes of teaching.
