It is reasonable for God to expect us to trust Him for our physical needs as well as for our souls. If our faith cannot meet practical, everyday needs, how will we learn to trust Him in matters of greater importance? It’s easy to talk about trusting God for salvation in the distant future, but real faith is tested when we face immediate, overwhelming circumstances. This is when we discover the reality of divine power in our lives.
God has always trained His people to look to Him as the provider for both their spiritual and physical needs. He is Jehovah-Rophi, our healer and sustainer. Have you learned what it means to trust Him as your healer, transforming your place of trial into a place of blessing?
