and placed everything under his feet.” When God subjected all things to him, He left nothing outside of his control. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. — Heb 2:8-9 BSB

How true this is for all of us! So many things in life seem stronger than we are, but blessed be His name! All things are under His subjection, and we see Jesus crowned above all. He is our Head, our representative, our other self, and where He is, we too shall surely be. When we fail to see God’s promises fulfilled in our experience, we can look up and see them realized in Him. We can claim them for ourselves through Him. Our earthly perspective is only half the picture, but the heavenly side is already complete. The rainbow, though we may not see its full arc, will one day encircle the throne, completing our unfinished lives.

By faith, let us enter into our full inheritance. Let us lift our eyes to the north, south, east, and west and hear Him say, "All the land that you see, I will give to you." The circle is complete, the inheritance is limitless, and all things are under His feet.
