and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age. — Matt 28:20 BSB
It is about "all the days," not just "always." He comes to us each day with new blessings. Every morning, day by day, He walks with us, with a love that never tires and blessings that never grow old. He is with us through all the days—this is a continual, ceaseless presence. There is no day so dark, mundane, or uninteresting that we will not find Him there. Often, like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we may not recognize Him at first. But when our hearts are warmed, our love stirred, and the Scriptures come alive with meaning, we realize it is the Lord! May God grant that His living presence becomes more real to us each day, whether through conscious evidence, as the disciples experienced at times, or through simple faith as we walk through life. We can rest in the truth that He is always with us, unseen yet real, and ready to reveal Himself whenever we need Him.
