Oh, friend, wouldn’t that be such a blessing and rest for you, weary from striving in your own strength? Don’t you long for a stronger One to conquer the strong man of self and sin within you? Don’t you want a leader, a guide, God Himself to live within you and give you rest? Are you not conscious of this need—the feeling of being beaten back, longing but not accomplishing? This is exactly what He comes to do: "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you." But it’s not just receiving power—it’s receiving the power of the Holy Spirit Himself. It’s not about people saying, "What power that person has," but rather recognizing that the power comes from the Holy Spirit living in you.
