Where is the way to the home of light? Do you know where darkness resides, — Job 38:19 BSB

Jewels in themselves are valueless unless they are brought into contact with light. When placed in the right position, they reflect the beauty of the sun. Without light, even a diamond is just a piece of carbon, no different from a lump of charcoal. Its beauty is only revealed when it reflects the sun's light. The same is true for other precious gems—their splendor depends on the light that shines upon them. A paste jewel may look bright at first glance, but it doesn’t truly reflect light. So, in our natural state, we are like paste—dull and lifeless. But when God shines His light upon us, we reflect His beauty. Our beauty is not our own; it is the beauty of Jesus shining through us. We are His chosen people, called to show forth His excellencies, having been called out of darkness into His marvelous light. Let us reflect His light and love today.
