In everything, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus Himself: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ — Acts 20:35 BSB

How can we tell the difference between earthly love and heavenly love? Earthly love focuses on ourselves, seeking personal satisfaction. Heavenly love, on the other hand, reaches out to God and others, finding its joy in glorifying Him and blessing others. True love is unselfish, and love that isn’t unselfish is not from God. How much do we pray for others versus ourselves? What is at the center of our lives—ourselves, or our Lord, His people, and His work? May the Lord help us understand the deeper truth that "it is more blessed to give than to receive." Jesus said, "Whoever tries to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for My sake and the Gospel will keep it for eternity."

Have you found some precious treasure?
Pass it on.
Have you found some holy pleasure?
Pass it on.
Giving out is twice possessing,
Love will double every blessing,
On to higher service pressing,
Pass it on.
