Each one should remain in the situation he was in when he was called. — 1 Cor 7:20 BSB

Oh, you who complain about your calling or become frustrated by the changes and trials of life, how do you know that these very changes aren’t the methods God is using to fulfill His plans for your blessing and usefulness? If Aquila hadn’t been forced to leave Rome and disrupt his home and business, he may never have met Paul, and he might not have come to know Christ through that providential meeting. If Aquila hadn’t been a working man, he might not have met the apostle while pursuing his regular duties. God met him in the midst of his everyday calling and the changes of his life, just as He meets us. Don’t try so hard to escape it, but as the apostle so wisely said, “Let each one remain in the calling in which he was called,” and there abide with God. Make the most of the incidental opportunities that come your way.
