if it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; — Rom 12:7 BSB
Beloved, are you ministering to Christ? Are you doing so with your hands, your resources, and your best efforts? Is Christ receiving the best of what you have to offer? Does He have a place at your table? And if He’s not there, is His seat left open for His representatives—His humble, needy children? Words and good intentions are cheap if they don’t result in tangible action. Even Mary didn’t just offer her heart—she laid her most precious gift at His feet.
Busy women, you work hard to care for your families and homes, but what have your hands earned for the Master? What have you sacrificed for Jesus?
“Can you afford it?” someone asked a noble woman when she promised a costly gift for the Lord’s work. Her response? “No, but I can sacrifice it.”
Let us today look around at what we can do and give more to the loving Savior, who gave His whole life for us.
