Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. — Matt 10:8 BSB
When God does something special for our souls or bodies, He intends it as a trust to be shared with others. “Freely you have received, freely give.”
In these last days, the Lord has revealed Himself in special ways to His disciples in various parts of the Church. But this blessing isn’t meant to stay with us—it must be shared with others. Each of us who has come into a close relationship with God becomes a trustee or witness of these higher truths for those we can influence.
If God has revealed Himself to us as our Sanctifier, it’s so we can help others know Him as their Sanctifier. If He has healed us, it’s because there are sick and suffering lives we can bless. And if the hope of His return has become precious to us, it would be ungrateful to keep this truth to ourselves.
