How different is the new way of deliverance from the old! One touch of Christ is worth a lifetime of struggling.

A man in the hospital was in danger of losing his sight due to a small piece of broken needle lodged in his eye. Multiple operations only aggravated the problem, pushing the needle fragment deeper into the delicate nerves. Finally, a young physician came with a new idea. Instead of using sharp instruments, he brought a small but powerful magnet. Holding it close to the eye, he drew the piece of steel out gently, without any effort or pain. What countless procedures had failed to do, this simple touch accomplished perfectly.

This is how God delivers us—through the simple attraction of Christ’s life and power.
