However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. — John 16:13 BSB

The Holy Spirit doesn’t come to give us extraordinary manifestations but to offer life and light. The closer we come to Him, the simpler His illumination and guidance will be. He comes to lead us into all truth, to shine a light on our hearts, and to reveal ourselves to us. He comes to show us Christ, to help us understand the Scriptures, and to make divine realities vivid and clear to us.

He is the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, enlightening the eyes of our understanding so that we may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the greatness of His power at work in us who believe.

Spirit of Power! With heavenly fire,
Our souls endue, our tongues inspire;
Stretch forth Your mighty hand,
Restore Your Pentecostal gifts,
And display the wonders of Your power once more
In every land.
