Open Door of Communion

I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door, which no one can shut. For you have only a little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name. — Rev 3:8 BSB

Those who remain faithful to the truth of God have an open door before them. My soul, you have resolved to live and die by what the Lord has revealed in His Word, and so an open door stands before you.

I will enter through the open door of communion with God. Who can stop me? Jesus has taken away my sin and given me His righteousness, so I may freely enter. Lord, I enter by Your grace.

I also have an open door into the mysteries of God’s Word. I can enter into the deep things of God—election, union with Christ, the Second Coming—all of these are mine to explore. No promise and no doctrine are locked against me.

An open door of access to God is before me in private, and an open door of usefulness is before me in public. God will hear me, and God will use me. There is an open door for my progress toward heaven, and for my daily fellowship with the saints on earth. Some may try to shut me out or shut me down, but they will fail.

Soon I will see the open door into heaven itself: the pearly gates will be my entrance, and I will go in to be with my Lord and King, forever shut in with God.
