Clearly Supernatural

On that day the LORD will defend the people of Jerusalem, so that the weakest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the LORD going before them. — Zech 12:8 BSB

One of the most effective ways the Lord defends His people is by giving them inward strength. Strong men and women of faith are mightier than walls or fortresses.

The Lord can take the weakest among us and make them like David, a champion of Israel. Lord, do this for me! Fill me with Your power and courage so that I may face the giants in my life with confidence in You.

The Lord can also make His greatest champions even mightier. David could become like an angel of the Lord, filled with supernatural strength and grace. What a marvel this would be! Lord, work in our leaders and in all Your faithful servants! Raise them to heights of grace and holiness that are clearly supernatural, so that the world may see Your power in them.

Lord, dwell within Your saints, and they shall be as strong as the angels in Your presence. Put Your might in them, and they shall stand firm and unshaken. Fulfill this promise to Your entire church in our day, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.
