Prayer, Thanksgiving, Praise

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. — Phil 4:6-7 BSB

No worries, only prayer. No anxiety, just joyful communion with God. Bring your desires to the Lord of your life, the guardian of your soul. Go to Him with a double portion of prayer and a generous measure of praise. Don’t pray with doubt, but with thanksgiving. Consider that you already have your requests, and so thank God for His grace. He is giving you grace, so give Him thanks. Hide nothing. Don’t let any need fester in your heart; “make known your requests.” Don’t run to people—go only to your God, the Father of Jesus, who loves you in Him.

This will bring you God’s own peace. You won’t be able to fully understand the peace you will experience. It will wrap you in its infinite embrace. Heart and mind, through Christ Jesus, will be steeped in a sea of rest. Whether life or death, poverty, pain, or slander comes your way, you will dwell in Jesus, above every storm and beyond every dark cloud. Will you not obey this precious command?

Yes, Lord, I do believe in You; but, I ask, help my unbelief.
