Valiant for Truth
With flattery he will corrupt those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him. — Dan 11:32 BSB
“The Lord is a warrior; Jehovah is His name.” Those who enlist under His banner have a Commander who will train them for the battle, giving them both strength and courage. Even in the darkest times, God’s people are called to rise to the challenge, strong in their faith, prepared to face powerful adversaries.
Oh, that we might truly know our God—His power, His faithfulness, His unchanging love—and be ready to risk everything for His sake. His character inspires such devotion that we are willing to live and die for Him. When we spend time in fellowship with God, we are transformed by His presence, and we become fearless in the face of opposition. A person who has stood in the presence of God will never fear the face of man. If we dwell with Him, we will take on His boldness and be able to face a world of enemies as though they were nothing. To God, the nations are as insignificant as grasshoppers, and so they shall seem to us. Oh, to be valiant for truth in this age of falsehood!
