A good name is more desirable than great riches; favor is better than silver and gold. — Prov 22:1 BSB

We must be careful with our reputation. Even things that aren’t morally wrong can be misinterpreted by others and hurt our good name. We need a strong moral sense to guide our actions and ensure that everything aligns with the highest standards of right living. A tarnished name can never fully regain its former brightness.

“The fleece that had been by the dyer stained,
Never again its native whiteness gained.”
