Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. — Matt 11:29 BSB
Learning to live a worthy life is something we must pursue. Just as no one becomes a great musician without years of practice, no one can paint a masterpiece without first learning how. Likewise, living beautifully takes time, patience, and effort.
Learning to live well is harder than learning music or art. Yet, we are responsible to learn this sacred art of living because life is a trust from God. We will be held accountable for how we use the life He has given us. We are called to develop our abilities to their fullest potential, gaining mastery over ourselves, so that we can fulfill our God-given purpose.
Sadly, many people never seriously attempt to learn how to live well. This neglect is unworthy of beings created with eternal significance and a divine mission. We should live in such a way that we have no regrets when we come to the end of our lives.
