Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” — John 13:7 BSB

It’s never wise to pass judgment on God’s providence while we only see part of the picture. No work can be fairly judged while it’s still in progress. We must wait until it is finished. Sometimes the full meaning of events is hidden from us for years, or perhaps even until we reach eternity. That’s why we need to train ourselves to trust in God’s goodness and love, believing that He will always do what is right and what is best for us. Only faith can give us peace.
