The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely. — Rev 22:17 BSB
A famous novelist tells the story of a child who ran away from home. Every night, as it grew dark, the family set a candle in the window, so that if the lost child ever came back, she would see the light and know that love was waiting for her inside.
The Bible is like a great palace, standing in the midst of a dark world. It has a thousand windows, and in each one, a light shines out, inviting the lost to return to the home where they will find a warm welcome, if only they come.
