And as for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But just as His true and genuine anointing teaches you about all things, so remain in Him as you have been taught. — 1 John 2:27 BSB

Have you ever felt even a single drop of this holy anointing oil touch your heart? One drop, even if just a drop, will set you apart forever for God’s service. When Moses anointed the tabernacle and all its vessels, only a small amount of oil was used, but it was enough to consecrate everything. A single touch of that oil sanctified each object for its purpose, and no further consecration was needed—it lasted.

So if you’ve ever experienced even a small measure of God’s love in your heart, a drop of anointing that teaches you the truth in Jesus, that softens, heals, feeds, and gives life to your soul, then you’ve received the anointing from the Holy One. This means you know all that’s necessary for your salvation, and through that same holy oil, you’ve been sanctified and made ready for an eternal inheritance.
